Opalope is a limited Rare Gem type from Bejeweled Blitz. The base value for an Opalope is 22,000 points. It is a yellow gemstone that resembles an open envelope.

When activated, any 4 yellow gems matched create an Opalope instead of a Flame Gem.

• This Rare Gem used to have a board pattern which was removed later on from both versions.
• Opalope is a portmenteau of "opal" and "envelope".
• This Rare Gem uses the sounds of Archstone, however its explosion sound is taken from Autumnthyst.
