Lunar Veil is a planet that's never been used in Puzzle mode. It is first seen in level 17 in most modes (without the Randomize Backdrops option enabled).
Trivia[]
- The planet has no actual name, as such, the name is purely conjectural.
- Besides Lunar Veil, the cancelled Planet Pack was going to introduce 12 new backdrops to the game. Though, without any sources mentioning that Planet Pack was going to be an expansion to Puzzle mode, these 12 backdrops are likely just extra backdrops.
- Two of the 12 backdrops, "planetpack1_03" and "planetpack1_06", are actually reused in Bejeweled Twist, albeit with some slight edits. The latter of which is used as the planetary backdrop for Stratamax.
- Both the Plug & Play version of Bejeweled and the TAG Network version of Bejeweled 2 also introduces two backdrops of two planets not seen in other ports of Bejeweled 2. These two are Azure Divide and Verdant Expanse.
- The IOS and Android ports of Bejeweled 2 also introduces the backdrop of a planet that has been nicknamed "Crimson Shard".
