Impossible is a custom challenge created by SlinkyCoil, and is the thirteenth and final challenge in the Challenge Pack. It becomes available by completing the first puzzle of Nova.
The puzzles of Impossible involve various extremely difficult objectives. The difficulty can spike really quickly depending on the level.

Impossible 1[]
Impossible 1 features a grid that is 8 wide and 4 high. It requires the player to create a Supernova Gem in an 8-gem match.

Impossible 2[]
Impossible 2 features a grid that is 4 wide and 6 high. It requires the player to clear 750 gems within a 5-minute time limit.
- Creating Special Gems can help out with progression. Players can also make intersecting matches to count as 5 or more gems cleared in a match.
Impossible 3[]
Impossible 3 requires the player to destroy 5 Doom Gems within a 5-minute time limit. Doom Gems have a starting counter of 3.
- Try to create and trigger Special Gems near the Doom Gem's spawning point, as it will minimize the number of risky moves the player will need to use.
Impossible 4[]
Impossible 4 requires the player to get 20 green gems onscreen within a 3-minute time limit. At least one Doom Gem is onscreen with a starting counter of 5.
- Try to get as many green gems to spawn at the bottom of the grid as possible and continue making matches until at least enough green gems have appeared onscreen.
- Wherever necessary, try to create extra Flame Gems to destroy the Doom Gem for when it's counter gets too low.
Impossible 5[]
Impossible 5 requires the player to trigger 3 Supernova Gems within a 5-minute time limit. Locked Gems spawn in every move until at least 16 locks have appeared onscreen.

Impossible 6[]
Impossible 6 features a grid that is 2 wide and 9 high. It requires the player to create a Supernova Gem in a 6-gem match.

Impossible 7[]
Impossible 7 features a grid that is 4 wide and 6 high. It requires the player to survive for 500 moves. At least one Bomb Gem is onscreen with a starting counter of 10 going down to 8. Coal can also fall in from time to time.
- Create as many Flame Gems as possible and store them to destroy Bomb Gems break away Coals. Take advantage of a Bomb Gem's counter.
Trivia[]
- Impossible was amongst the earliest known challenges in the Challenge Pack.
- SlinkyCoil took a long time to finish the challenge due to the lack of imagination for difficult levels.
- Originally, Impossible 2 and 7 were supposed to have 4x4 grids. This was changed due to the creation of Compact.
- The challenge's visualizer, VizKaleidoCat, is a Blitz mode visualizer, however lacks the low-time effects.
- This is the first custom challenge containing a level that makes use of a grid height higher than 8.
