Crystal Clover was a limited Rare Gem in Bejeweled Blitz. It was a green gemstone that resembled a four-leaf clover. This Rare Gem was created as a way to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day. It was upgraded to Super Clover on March 15, 2016.
When the player began a game with Crystal Clover activated, one of three special starting layouts appeared. All three configurations included unique green gems that resembled four-leaf clovers. A clover functioned identically to a Flame Gem, except a clover cleared 16 gems in a 5×5 clover-shaped pattern instead. The base value for clearing a clover was 1,500 points. While Crystal Clover was active, clovers replaced random green gems throughout the game, and Flame Gems created using green gems became clovers instead.
After the Last Hurrah, a Coin bonus occurred in which nine clover icons appeared in a 3×3 arrangement. When the player selected an icon, it revealed a numerical Coin value that was then added to the player's Coin total. The Coin payouts the bonus offered were 1,000, 1,500, 3,000, 5,000, 7,500, 15,000, 25,000, 40,000, and 100,000.
