The Android version of Bejeweled is a port of Bejeweled to the Android operating system. It was distributed by PopCap Games and Electronic Arts, and was released on 2010s. The port is similar to that of the Java version.
The game involves lining up 3 or more gems of the same color in a row to clear them from the board, to score enough points to reach the next level.
Overview[]
The Android version of Bejeweled is the game that featured Bejeweled 2 gems, graphics, backgrounds but retained music and sound effects from PC version. However the gameplay is almost same as the PC version, except with the additional of the Multiplayer Mode.
Modes[]
The Android version of Bejeweled feature 3 game modes:
Classic[]
Also known as Normal in the PC version, the player must make matches to fill the bar, when it is full it warps the player to the next level. The game ends when there are no more possible moves.
Action[]
Also known as Time Trial in the PC version, the game starts with the bar half full. It will then start to decrease every second, and the player must make matches to add more seconds, with bigger moves getting more time. The player will be warped to the next level when the bar is full; the game ends when the bar empties. When no more moves can be made, the game reshuffles the gems.
Multiplayer[]
Players can connect via Multiplayer Menus. Multiplayer games are played against another player, where they must match gems to reduce each others' power bar. The first player to have their power bar reach red levels loses the game, unless they score enough matches to fight back. The 'Power' statistic indicates a player's power level at the end of the game.
There are four Special Gems (called "Bombs" in-game) which can be obtained by a player:
- Zero-Gravity - New gems do not fall in after you make a match.
- Cave-In - Removes all gems from the board.
- Crazy Pad - Reverses all controls on the opponent's keypad.
- Holes - Empty spaces are left in the board after making a match.
Multiplayer mode records statistics that determine the current rank of a player. Disconnecting or forfeiting to avoid loss would not help a player's ranking.

- Since the game was developed in earlier Android versions, it is plagued with crashes in later Android versions, such as force close and screen glitches.
